Rest in peace Bill Douglas. Like an uncle to me since I was 13 & thank you LORD for saving my friends and myself in the accident.... - Miley

First of all I wanted to say that against the HORRIBLE rumors, I loved Bill Douglas. He was like an uncle to me, and so much so I've called him Uncle Bill for three years. He was the most wonderful man, and due to a tragic accident of my tour bus crashing and flipping, he passed away. We got in touch with his family, they are having a hard time and I ask that everyone please send their prayers to the Douglas family...

I praise GOD every moment of everyday, and today is an amazing example of why. Although we lost a huge part of our lives, an amazing man, and a huge part of all of us, myself, my family, and my friends, the rest of the staff and no one on the road was harmed. We are ALL very thankful for that. It was very tragic, and it was very scary, but over time we will let this fade into our blessings. I honestly don't believe I've ever felt a more scary feeling than the moment it happened. And we are all very thankful.

It was on the news, all over the internet, and everywhere within a matter of hours and I am sorry for anyone who was afraid of what happened in the accident. So were we. I also now have to face my new fear of buses, I honestly don't think I'll ever sit well in another one again. All of us have shed tears, and cried our eyes out over this. I, being hugely emotional, haven't stopped for hours on end.

On a happier note, a little earlier I was convinced I needed to get "out of the house" I needed to get out and get some fresh air. A friennd of mine, and my mom went to see a movie. NO NOT TWILIGHT! However the ENTIRE theater was PACKED! We waited outside in the cold for about 30 minutes before even getting to the ticket counter. I was trying not to get recognized, NOT because I don't love my fans but because this isn't a day that I've been hugely social... Of course though as soon as I lifted my head, 'OH MY GOD!' and I was trying my best to keep as quiet as possible and even had to go through the back way and had to sneak into a movie theater because it was causing such a big deal.

There were literally hundreds of people trying to get into ONE theater of New Moon! It was insane! Me and my friend were out at the consession, and I was making funny comments to pass the time because we had the SLOWEST worker of all time. And we were looking at a movie signn and I was like, "You can have him!" and they were like, "I think it's a girl. And no thanks." and I made the mistake of saying out loud, "Too girly for you? Go into twilight, the vampire is WAY more girly than that thing!" and literally I heard like 239045345 people SCOFF at me. I was like, hiding behind my friend going, "I'm gonna get mugged now!", they were like, "Just say your team Jacob. They'll understand. At least half these girls would have your back." either way it was a really funny night, and I learned to NOT bash Twilight in the middle of a crowded room waiting to SEE it. =]

During the movie I was talking ( duh) and got like two guys next to us and a girl beside me laughing and joking with me. I wans't trying to be loud or anything, I was just saying what was on my mind. I'm always the person in the theater talking! So if that's ever happened to you, on behalf of those like me - SUCK IT UP. And this old lady down from us was like, "SHUT UP!" and I DID try and stay quiet, but I was mainly talking to the friend I was with.

Anyway, my day has been filled with mixed emotions, I'm having a really hard time with the accident, but like I said... over time. I hope everyone had a blessed day, knowshow blessed they are, and had a wonderful day. I'm sorry to anyone who was worried about the accident.

Love and BLESSINGS,
Miley
